From the boardroom to the frontlines of advocacy, from our kitchens to city council chambers, African and Caribbean women are shaping the AACN story with brilliance, resilience, and boundless heart.
This week, we recognize and celebrate the women of AACN—those leading initiatives, nurturing families, mentoring youth, and driving change.
Meet Esther N, a nurse and immigrant from Kenya, who now leads our Health Outreach Team, organizing free screenings and reproductive education for women. Or Samantha C, a small business owner from St. Lucia, mentoring young women through our Entrepreneurship Series.
Women are the backbone of our network. They hold our cultural memory, inspire future generations, and remind us that progress without inclusion is not progress at all.
AACN supports women’s empowerment through:
Women’s health education
Professional development workshops
Community safety initiatives
Domestic violence support networks
👉 Call to Action:
Nominate a woman for our next “Woman of Strength” feature, or join our Women’s Empowerment Circle. Let’s keep rising—together.
